This new and exciting small grants program is designed to help kids get the most out of their education through better participation.
A good education is as important to children as food, shelter and a loving family. Education provides children with the tools and knowledge they need to understand and participate in today's world. Sadly, not all children get the same chances in life.
Being one of Australia's leading child welfare charities, Barnardos know only too well that many children struggle to receive a good and stable education and often cannot access the most basic resources that can be the key to unlocking their true potential.
Whilst Barnardos provides comprehensive and integrated child and family support programs, sometimes it just takes something small to help kids on their way. This could be assistance with schoolbooks or uniforms, school fees or equipment, special tuition or excursions.
